Consumption of discarded human waste offers an appealing alternative for migratory storks; relinquishing their traditional flight and European folklore due to increasingly extreme temperatures and the luxury of pre-packaged goods. The overflowing landfills harness the power to transform the ecosystem until what remains is the detritus of species vulnerable to the impact of our society. The white stork is a migratory bird, however due to climate change the path from European countries to Africa and Asia becomes a death trap. The storks are no longer able to carry infants to parents around the world; soon there may be no children.
