’Nyangatja kapi piti pulkana nyanga ini Lingkanya ka kapi panya wanampi kanpa palaru nyinanyi ka punu tjuta wanari ka kapi wata punu tjarpanyi. This is a large major rockhole called Lingka. It is where a poison water serpent resides. All of the trees here are Mulga, they take the water up from their roots to the tips of the tree. The warta (trees) signify the presence of Tjukurpa (story) at Lingka.’
