Unglazed porcelain, vitreous glass, tinted mortar on hand-formed substrate
Tragically, half of the Great Barrier Reef's coral has been killed during the last two years by repeated mass bleaching due to climate change. And yet the Australian government continues to support the fossil fuel industry and has failed to produce a national renewable energy policy despite signing up to the historical 2015 Paris Agreement.
Some corals are able to recover but only if we act quickly to reduce the threats we impose. We have to have hope and do what we can to preserve the remaining corals. The alternative is that this national treasure will fade into a distant memory.
