Fat Cat

Skin, claw, feather, bone, teeth, gold, copper, cotton

Our pristine, heritage-listed bushland in the remote north-west of Kangaroo Island is of the highest conservation rating in South Australia. It is home to rare and threatened endemic fauna facing extinction from feral cat predation. As the custodian of this land, I desperately need on-the-ground support as cat numbers spiral out of control and threaten the existence of numerous bird, small mammal and reptile species.

As colonisers, I believe it is our collective duty of care to eradicate the problems we have introduced. Where are the fat cats? Investment is urgently required to protect our national treasures.
