My practice explores the ways that memory and place create an imprint on the human condition and ways of seeing.

Banskia seedpods contain built-in survival mechanisms, which enable their fruiting cones to open when burnt by fire and release new seed for germination. This extraordinary system of adaption creates a metaphor that asks us to address our own actions and survival mechanisms in times of environmental emergency.
