Thrown porcelain, 10cm x 21cm x 21cm

The hours in the bush of collecting observing, listening and smelling become marks, drawings, areas of terra sigillata pooling over the rims and into the belly of the bowl. The pots grow wobbly, the rims ragged. The base always has a fine turned foot, the perfect circle contrasting against the fluctuant body. Drawing works into the porcelain pulling marks and lines out, through the layers of terra sigillata to the surface of the vessel.
