Lampwork glass, 97cm x 145cm x 69cm

This collection of lampwork glass plants relates to the fragility of nature. It references the different ways that people have tried to preserve and document flowers throughout history, from Pierre Jean Francois Turpin’s 1837 engraving of a conceptual flowering plant to the collection of glass plant models by Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka.
